My name is Ben! I am a leader, a strategist, a marketer, a graphic designer, a creative thinker, a husband to a beautiful wife (Cora), and the owner of a frustratingly intelligent dog (Zeus). Thanks to some "encouragement" from my hyper-motivated brother-in-law, I also (begrudgingly) trained for and completed my first Ironman 70.3 triathlon last September (it actually was really satisfying).
I graduated top of my class (summa cum laude) with a BS in Marketing from Oral Robert's University. Most recently, I worked as the Director for Short-Term Missions at Bethel Church in Redding, CA. My background of business education and non-profit experience have proven to be the perfect foundation for this role of mobilizing over 2,000 missionaries to 80+ locations across the globe. Through this role I have gained significant managerial, administrative, and logistical experience. Check some of that out here!
I also do graphic and web design. What began as a hobby and creative outlet for me personally has quickly sharpened into an extremely valuable and practical professional tool. You can check out some of my work here.
My wife and I just moved to MICHIGAN, where we are excited to lay some deep roots, live closer to family, and have snow be a part of our lives again!
If you want the paper version of this experience, you can click here to check out my resume.
I am always looking for new opportunities to lend my strengths! Email firstname.lastname@example.org to connect.
The Story so far....
I was born and raised in the suburbs of Denver, CO. The mountains were my backyard, and I have a deep love for camping, hiking, backpacking, and the outdoors. I am a dedicated Colorado Rockies fan.
I went to college at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK. I graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Marketing in 2016 and was awarded "Top Marketing Student of the Class of 2016." I met my wife there and learned from the Okies how to survive a Tornado.
My wife and I moved to Redding, CA in 2016 to attend ministry school. After a year, I was hired to be a Trip Coordinator for Bethel's Short Term Missions department. After 2 years of working in that role, I was promoted to be Director of Short Term Missions for Bethel Church.
Michigan is our future! My wife is a full blooded Michigander, and we are so excited for life next to family! We are also excited for new career opportunities and to invest ourselves into the communities, neighborhoods, and cities of Michigan.
